A Civic Action Programme was organised by 92 BN BSF at Govt. Middle School, Village Rajpura under Tehsil Pargwal. Ex-MLA Dr KrishanLal was the Chief Guest during the programme.
Sh Jaswinder Kumar Birdi Commandant, 92 Bn BSF and Smt Neel Birdi,Chief Executive, Family Welfare Centre, 92 Bn BSF, Officers and Jawans with their families was also remain present.
During Civic action programme a free Medical Camp, Blood donation camp and a cultural programmes were organised. A huge numbers of Villagers residing in Pargwal, Rajpura and adjoining border villages attended the programmes.
This initiative taken by 92 Bn BSF has been widely appreciated by the border population.
In cultural programme, Mahila constables, families, Jawans of 92 BN BSF and students of Govt.Middle School Rajpura performed various forms of art and dance. Besides this Milan Cultural and Social Organization, Jammu performed cultural programme which has given regional touch.
Dr KrishanLal praised the roll of BSF for the nation specially in Jammu region. Total 460 Nos of patient were treated by the doctors in above medical camp and free medicines were also provided to them. In Blood donation camp 82 Nos of BSF personnel and families donated their blood for needy persons.
The aim of the civic action programme was to promote better understanding and co-operation between BSF and the civil population residing in border areas.
