05 days Civil Defence basic training programme was concluded at Soil Conservation Training School Miran Sahib, Jammu which was started on 13-05-2024 under the supervision of Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. In the training camp 42 Trainees have attend the basic training. The said training was given by the Civil Defence Experts on the knowledge of First Aid, prevention, management and control of Fire Fighting, Snake bite, Choking and other basic life saving technique and preventive measures during the natural/ manmade disaster.
During the training session in collaboration with SDRF 2nd Bn. Jammu, a high level demonstration on the above said topics was held on 16-05-2024 in which evacuation of victims from higher building during fire/earthquake and improvised emergency rescue methods during road accidents etc. Smt. Neha Mehta Principal training School appreciated and thanked the Civil Defence team for imparting such training programme.
