One day awareness programme held at Govt. College for Women, Parade Jammu on 26-04-2018 which was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the able guidance of Addl.Director General of police HG / Civil Defence & SDRF, J&K and close supervision of Dy.SP Anita Pawar , Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. In the awareness camp the students were given the knowledge of First Aid & Rescue Techniques.
Dr. Madhu Hemla Aggrawal, Principal of the Govt. College for Women, Parade Jammu highly appreciated the role of Civil Defence and requested to conduct 05 days Basic Civil Defence Training programme in the first week of next month. Dr.Sunil Bhat & Dr. Sapna Dr.Ravinder Kour NSS Programme Officer,Paramjit Kumar Chief warden,Ranjeet Singh Dy.Chief warden & R.Vijay Magotra dy.Divisional also present on the occasion. 100 NSS Volunteers and staff members of Women College attended the awareness programme.
The main aim of the awareness programme to facilitate the NSS Volunteers and staff members of Women College with regard to preventive history of Civil Defence and importance of First Aid, & Rescue Techniques.
