A grand Tiranga Rally was organized in Mandal Jourian under the Akhnoor Assembly Constituency by the Civil Society and the Saints’, aiming to promote unity and send a stern message against terrorism. The rally commenced from the Shaheedi Sthal (Martyrs’ Memorial) and proceeded through the main market, eventually culminating back at the starting point. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of local citizens, as well as several dignitaries, who all came together to express their patriotic fervor.
The atmosphere resonated with powerful chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Indian Army Zindabad,” creating a vibrant and nationalistic mood throughout the area.
During the rally, prominent figures including Mahant Keshav Das Shastri, Brahmakumari Volunteer Sunita, BJP District President Kuldeep Sharma, and MLA Akhnoor Mohan Lal Bhagat addressed the gathering.
They emphasized that India is now taking decisive steps against terrorism. They stated that the Government of India and its capable armed forces have made it clear—not just to Pakistan but to the entire world—that any act of terrorism will be met with a fitting response, even if it means striking deep inside enemy territory.
Mandal President Neeraj Shastri, in his address, praised the valor and determination of India’s Army, Navy, and Air Force under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He asserted that any attempt to disrupt the peace and integrity of India will be met with severe consequences, and terrorists should realize the cost of even thinking about executing sinister plans on Indian soil.
Among the many dignitaries present on the occasion were Pandit Sham Shastri, former Vice-Chairman of Kissan Advisory Board Daljeet Singh, BJP National Executive Member of Kissan Morcha and Akhnoor District Co-incharge Manmohan Singh, General Secretary Raki Gupta, Rakesh Bhagat, DDC Member Bhushan Bral, former BDC Neha Rajput, District General Secretary Shakti Bhagat, District Vice President Manga Ram, senior leaders Pritam, Subhash, Mangal, Gullu Ram, Pradeep Chaudhary, former Municipal Committee Chairman Madan Lal, Sham Chaudhary, Daler Singh, and several other eminent personalities.
