A colourful day long cultural and literary programme was organised here at K L Saigal Hall Jammu. the event was attended by the long number of writers and Artists and other distinguished personalities from different walk of life.
The programme was inaugurated by noted Gujjar leader and former Minister Mian Altaf Ahmed while well known journalist and Deputy Director out reach bureau (IIS) Ms Neha Jalali was the Chief Guest on the occasion. among others who attended the inaugural session Ch Gulzar Ahmed, Secretary JKAACL Dr Aziz Hajini famous Gojri and pahari writer K D Maini, Mohan Singh, Dr Jitindar udhampuri, Arash Sehbai, Shabir Mujahid, Rukhsana Jabeen, Ahmed Shanas, Ch Abdul Rashid, Ch Jamat Ali Social Gujjar leader.
While inaugurating the day long event Mian Altaf Ahmed hailed the role of JKAACL for promoting Art and Culture including Gojri language and literature in jammu and Kashmir state for last three years we have been saying JKAACL very vibrant for promoting different arts and Languages in the State and it has created a history in working with effective promptness said Altaf in his inugral speech.
Ms Neha Jalali while Addressing the gathering observed that enthusiasm and passion among Gojri writers Artists lover of this language and culture will live long.
Earlier in his welcome address Secretary JKAACL Dr Aziz Hajini highlighted role of the policy maker with regard to safe guard of small languages and culture in modern day fast growing world order about twenty Artists and 30 poets made performances during the event.
The proceedings of event were conducted by Dr Shahnawaz Editor Cum Cultural Officer head Deptt of Gojri JKAACL.
