Core Committee (CC) of Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS) today dissolved its State Body as it completed its tenure of 2 years which was fixed at the time of formation of YRS and declared that till the selection of new President, Yuva Rajput Sabha shall continue its functioning under the aegis of Core Committee, the Supreme Body of YRS, with Raghubir Singh as its Chairman.
The other members of Core Committee include Pushvinder Singh, Rajinder Singh, Davinder Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Rakesh Singh, Rajesh Singh, Shamsher Singh, Mohinder Singh and Mesht/Singh.
Addressing the press conference at Press Club Jammu, CC members of YRS said that since the state body of YRS has successfully completed its tenure of 2 years, the state body of YRS headed by Rajveer Singh stands dissolved and the process of electing new State President shall be initiated by Core Committee. They said that the nominations for the post of President shall be called from the biradari members and also appealed the interested persons to contact the CC members for the consideration of their name for the posts of state body of YRS. CC members further told that YRS shall continue its functioning under the aegis of Core Committee till the formation of new State Body of YRS and also disclosed that soon YRS shall also constitute its advisory board in addition to the committees at District, Tehsil and Block Level.
CC members reiterated their demands of constitution of Rajput Welfare Board of J&K and declaration of State Holiday on the eve of Birth Anniversary of Maharaj Hari Singh. They said that their struggle in support of their demands shall continue and Sabha shall leave no stone unturned to get these demands fulfilled. CC members shall also meet the Governor of the State Sh. Satya Pal Malik in this context. They said that the Rajput Biradari of the state has lots of expectations from YRS and shall try its level best to come up to the expectations of the Biradari.
