Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta has reiterated the Bharatiya Janata Party’s commitment to keep comprehensive development among its top priorities. Speaking during a function organized at Ward No 68 in Greater Kailash here today to kick start development work, Kavinder Gupta said that keeping in line with PM Modi’s mission of ‘Sab Ka Saath Sab Ka Vikas’ that stands now transformed into ‘Sab Ka Saath SabKa Vikas Sab Ka Vishwas’, the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has been witnessing unprecedented development in every sector since Narendra Modi took over the reins of this nation.
Soon after kick-starting development works, the former Deputy Chief Minister accompanied by Vinay Gupta, District President and Anil Kumar Corporator Ward 68 met the people of the area and took stock of their grievances. The people mainly highlighted the lane and drain problems besides the most irking rain water stagnation issue that makes the internal areas almost inaccessible during rainy seasons besides cleanliness in the area. The people sought a permanent solution to the rain water logging problem. Responding to the problems highlighted by the people of the area Gupta said, every one of us has to contribute as it becomes our collective responsibility especially in keeping our surroundings neat and clean. However, he assured to take up the matter with the concerned authorities and get all their problems resolved at the earliest.
Meanwhile, Kavinder Gupta also thanked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for paying special attention to Jammu and Kashmir. He said that funds have never been a constraint for the Centre in case of J&K during the NDA Government. He also lauded the seriousness of the Lieutenant Governor for the execution of various projects across this Union Territory. He complemented those involved in execution of different developmental projects for the quality works especially on drains, macadamization etc.
Gupta said that development being a priority of BJP and having delivered the best on this front he is confident that BJP will come out with commendable results in the next forthcoming elections to be held in future in this Union Territory.
