In a scathing attack on Congress party, Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh President, Ravinder Raina alleged that Congress party is carrying forward nothing but the agenda of Pakistan through its BDC poll boycott call.
Raina, also said that registration of Congress party be cancelled with immediate effect for its repeated acts to weaken the institutions of democracy, while he addressed media persons at party headquarter, Trikuta nagar.
Ravinder Raina, was also accompanied by former Dy. Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta and State Incharge BJP’s All Morchas & State Co-Incharge BJP’s organizational elections Munish Sharma. BJP State Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta and other senior leaders of party were also present on the occasion.
Ravinder Raina, alleged that Congress party does everything here, which is required as per the destructive foreign policy of rogue state of Pakistan. He said that Pakistan wants the election to be boycotted here, which is being implemented by Congress party along with NC and PDP in India. He said that the Congress party has carried forward the agenda put forth by hurriyat, separatists, and the enemies of the Nation, through its actions and hence proved itself to be a traitor by bringing bad name to the Nation.
Raina, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Union government and Election Commission of India (ECI) took essential steps for the strengthening of grass root level democracy in the Nation by empowering the Panchayati Raj system and the steps are forwarded with the pure intentions by concerned departments but Congress along with NC and PDP are busy in complying with the Boycott agenda given by Pakistan for the Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. He said that a political party has the prime responsibility to contest the elections to represent the masses but as it fails to do so, ECI must take essential steps to disaffiliate the party.
Raina, said that it is very unfortunate that for the last 70 years, masses were denied the power of democracy by either negating the Sarpanch, Panch polls or blocking their works by limiting their powers. He said that through the BDC elections, Sarpanchs and the Panchs are being empowered to develop their areas according to the latest requirements and needs of masses due to the efforts of Modi government but Congress party is trying to play the foul part.
Raina, congratulated the elected Sarpanchs and Panchs for earlier also thwarting the ill designs of these parties during boycott call of Sarpanch and Panch elections given and said that this time also Sarpanchs and Panchs have given tight slap on the face of these parties by filing the nominations for BDC elections in large numbers. Raina, also mentioned that Modi government has allocated 3700 Crore rupees for the development of masses after this exercise of BDC elections is completed.
Raina, said that the BJP will contest the elections with full might and said that it is our duty to follow the guidelines given by the ECI as a registered political party. He said that we thank the ECI for decision to hold BDC elections in the state as well as request all other political parties to contest elections in the state. Raina, said that Congress, NC, PDP has betrayed Country, Democracy, Sarpanchs, Panchs and general public of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh by giving this boycott call. He said that the Congress party was never willing to give powers to the grass root level in the past and even today, it is doing the same and there is nothing new in Congress’s efforts to weaken the democracy.
Replying to a question, Raina said that ECI is an autonomous body and supreme body with fair credentials and it is the job of every political office to follow the guidelines given by it.
