Jammu, July 13, 2019: Congress party has expressed strong concern over the mischief of Chinese Army in Demchok area of Ladakh and termed it very serious matter for the Country.
In a strongly worded statement JKPCC Chief Spokesperson has condemned the attempts of China of continuous interference with our territory and its hostile attitude towards India. Already China has entruded into the Doklam area in the past and created lot of trouble for us and now this attempt of entry inside our territory in Demchok area and disturbing the people from celebrating the birthday of spiritual leader Shri Daliai Lama Ji is very serious matter. It is very aggressive posture of China for past some years and its now a quite hostile neighbour.
Our government must act swiftly and deal with the situation firmly otherwise China is not going to stop from repeated mischiefs. Prime Minister Modi had assured the nation that there shall be no leniency in the matter of national security and safeguarding of our borders and he must act in this direction as entire nation is behind the government on the issue of nation’s unity and territorial integrity.
