Former Minister said Congress will form next government in Jammu and Kashmir. He said BJP despite knowing very well that bureaucratic rule has never been alternative to democratically elected Government deliberately deprived people of J&K from democratically elected Govt. He said now with intervention of Supreme Court ,finally people of Jammu and Kashmir will vote for assembly elections and they will teach a lesson to BJP in J&K. He said Congress Party is serving people with dedication and without self interest. Congress leader said he and his party is available for service at people 24×7.
Bhalla said that Congress will manage major win in the J&K. He said people are fed up of the anti-people, anti-poor, anti-trader, anti-employee and anti-farmer policies of BJP Government. They will definitely show this party its place in the Assembly elections. Noting that Jammu and Kashmir still awaits full statehood, He alleged the recent moves by the Union government have only added to the powers of the Lieutenant Governor there, “making a mockery of the powers of a duly elected state Assembly.Expressing confidence that the Congress will bounce back in a revitalized form on the J&K’s political scene, Bhalla said Congress enjoys support of all sections of society and are eagerly waiting for Congress Govt.
Bhalla said that leadership has started working on a revival plan and the cadre is being revitalised to carry on the party’s political campaign with renewed vigour. He said that Congress is a movement that will surge back. The utterances of leaders of regional parties are inconsequential. It’s time for involving youth in the party, their involvement will regenerate the pillars of the Congress Institution.”The J&K needs humane handling and promotion of genuine democratic process which cannot be achieved by inspired fragmentation of votes in a particular region of J&K,” he said.
Bhalla reminded since 1947, the Congress has been India’s beacon of hope. Our policies brought about rapid industrialization in a predominantly agrarian economy, transformed India from a famine-struck country to one that exports food grains to countries around the world, laid the scientific and technical foundations for India’s rise as a global software powerhouse, and built world class institutions in research and higher education whose graduates are seen as at par with the world’s best. Even as liberalisation and reforms caused economic growth to boom under successive Congress governments, our social welfare policies ensured that every citizen was able to participate in the India story, added Bhalla.
