Congress today held a strong protest demonstration over the issue of Rafale deal and marched towards the office of Deputy Commissioner Jammu and submitted a memorandum to the President of India seeking JPC probe into the issue.
Led by President JKPCC Shri G.A Mir and AICC leader and MP Rajya Sabha Sanjay Sinh, besides other senior leaders of the party, large number of congress activists & workers including Former Ministers Ex- legislators, PCC, DCC & Block functionaries of Jammu district, leaders of Frontal organizations and Cells marched towards the office of Dy. Commissioner Jammu, carrying play cards & raising slogans demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe (JPC) into the Rafale deal to bring out the entire truth into the matter. The protestors accused the Modi Government of misleading the apex court also over the issue by submitting wrong facts regarding the matter as far as CAG report & its examination by the PAC, where as this is totally wrong and incorrect, as there is no CAG report or same having been discussed into the PAC headed by Shri Malika Arjun Kharge.

Later they submitted a Memorandum to the president of India through DC Jammu put forth the demand of JPC.
