While addressing an election rally in Jammu East constituency BJP President Ravinder Raina said that the congress is a party of Rohingyas and Bangladeshis as most of them have infiltrated into the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the rule of the congress government in the centre. He further added that even the previous state governments of the NC and Congress have been very accomodative towards these infiltrators in Jammu and have allowed them to settle. He said that Rohingyas are a security threat as J&K is a sensitive border state.Ravinder Raina appealed to the people to vote for the BJP candidates in the Urban Local Bodies elections.
Ravinder Raina accompanied by MLC Ashok Khajuria and MLA Jammu East Rajesh Gupta took out a rally in Ward no.2 in favour of the local candidate Rajinder Kumar and appealed to the people to vote and support BJP in big manner.A large number of party cadres also accompanied the senior leaders and the overall political atmosphere looked positively in favour of BJP.
Jammu East MLA Rajesh Gupta while addressing the rally said that Jammu East is a special constituency for BJP and has always been represented by stalwarts like Shri Ashok Khajuria Ji and in the local bodies elections all the candidates will win with resounding success. He said that the people of Jammu East constituency have seen the grass root level work of the BJP.Rajesh Gupta said that due to the absence of the local bodies in J&K many financial incentives could not reach the people but now that lacuna would be eradicated with the holding of the local bodies elections.
Senior leader and MLC Ashok Khajuria said that once the local bodies are in place it would offer a big advantage to the people of the state as it would enable the reach of all the schemes launched by the Modi Gov’t. to reach the grass root levels.He complimented the Modi Gov’t for holding the local bodies elections despite boycott by the Kashmir centric NC and PDP .He said that now the people have become aware as to who are the real well wishers of the people of the state.
