Congress is answerable to 40,000 deaths and Congress must apologize for those countless souls as well whole lives are ruined because of bad decisions taken by Congress leaders from time to time. Stated Union MoS, Anuurag Thakur, while he was addressing the BJP senior leaders at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
Union Minister was accompanied by BJP State President Ravinder Raina, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, State General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi, Mayor JMC Chander Mohan Gupta, former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta and other senior party leaders.
BJP State Vice-President Pawan Khajuria, Pramod Kapahi, State Secretary Sanjay Baru, Pawan Sharma, Ajay Pargal, Praduman Singh, Parbhat Singh, Sanjay Khanna, Adv. Parimoksh Seth, Hari Om Sharma, Gorav Pargal and others also welcomed Anurag Thakur by offering bouquets, Mata Ki Chunri.
Anurag Thakur said that it was only Prime Minister Narendra Modi who gave real freedom to people of J&K from discrimination and underdevelopment. Abrogation of Articles 370, 35-A will bring prosperity and new dawn of development in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, he added.
Thakur, in his address, said that he is very happy to get the privilege to enter Jammu & Kashmir after the abrogation of controversial article. He said that people have witnessed the black time when the patriots were jailed for chanting Bharat Mata Ki Jai and hoisting the National Flag. We still remember the Tiranga Yatra of 1992 and similar many more Yatras afterwards and now we feel bit relaxed when the mission is fulfilled. Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh have been freed from bondage, he said.
Anurag Thakur, said that all the Law makers in both the houses have already passed the resolution, that the whole of Jammu & Kashmir belongs to India, we have taken the first step with the abrogation of Article and we are committed for the whole pledge. He said that we got today, for what our ideologue Shyama Prasad Mookherjee ji sacrificed his life. He said that after getting back with decisive mandate, Modi government took strong decision to abrogate the article. People are saying that only Modi ji could take the bod decision to abrogate the Article.
Thakur alleged that J&K State has received much funds from the Centre in the past, but still there was lack of development. He said that this was utter mismanagement of funds as well bungling along with the partiality going on in the state for decades together, but this is going to end now. He also said that the people are willing to come here, invest and participate in the development process. He said that enough blood is already spilled here, now there is no more scope for bloodshed and we have to concentrate on development. 40,000 people have lost their lives and many have suffered irreparable losses due to wrong policy of Pt. Nehru and Congress has still to apologize for this historic blunder.
He also took a jibe at Pakistan Premier Imran Khan who is running from pillar to post after abrogation of Article. He said that Imran Khan is terrified towards the future of Pakistan and added that we never want our neighbor to be under threat, but it needs to mend its ways and stop giving shelter to terrorists. Earlier, Ravinder Raina, welcomed the Union Minister and said that he has stood as an icon figure amongst the top youth leaders of Nation who are always ahead with the innovative steps. While welcoming Thakur, he said that he was moving ahead to address a programme at Leh, but on our request he devoted his precious time to guide the party leaders with his vast experience.
