Former Minister and senior Congress leader Raman Bhalla today cautioned the State Administration not to compromise on the question of maintaining Law and Order and the question of maintaining communal harmony in the State and prove the fact that nobody was above law and all violators of the communal harmony and Law and Order would be brought to justice. That attitude of duty alone would ensure free and fairs elections in the State. He said that the Congress Party cadres happen to be enthusiastic to rededicate themselves to the cause of the Congress party and work hard for rejuvenation of the party and he is confident that the Congress Party would emerge as a strong, united and secular political force in the state. He emphasized the fact that the Congress party has served the people of all the three regions of the state to the best of its ability and it is the Congress Party which can serve the people of the State best in the days to come. He said Congress is strong enough in all three regions to emerge as single largest party and would return to power in the next Assembly elections in the State. He said that Congress is a vibrant political force in all three regions of the state and would emerge victorious and single largest party in the next elections. He said Congress is the only secular force having great acceptability in all sections and three regions, as people have realized that congress alone can ensure equal share and equitable development to three regions and all parts of the state. Extorting the party cadres to seek decisive mandate from the people for the party, he said that Congress will give a tough fight in each constituency to come out victorious for the formation of the Government in the State.
Former Minister said that vote for Congress will be a vote for stability, peace and prosperity of country and Jammu and Kashmir State in particular. He said that no one except Congress can give nation a stable government which is the need of hour. The country, he added was passing through most sensitive phase and election of divisive or communal forces to power would destabilise its economy in a big way. Maximum development took place during the tenure of Congress Government which till date has remained matchless, he said and urged people to sense gravity of situation and vote a secular, progressive and visionary political outfit like Congress to power which has a legacy of building nation and bring peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir State in particular. The kind of development State witnessed in health sector and other fields is par excellence and only Congress can stretch that development further, he said.
