Struggling to regain confidence of electorate in its lost bastion J&K, Congress is making mockery of itself by experimenting extensively and making botched attempts to befool people once again by way of launching signature campaigns against nationalist policies of people-friendly NDA Government led by PM Narendra Modi.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta in a statement issued here on Thursday.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that it is an irony that a century old party has to take refuge in the lap of those regional political entities in J&K which have no credibility or a firm stand. He said by joining hands with People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration, the Congress has conceded that it has lost sheen in J&K like in other parts of the country as constituents of PAGD had a long history of flips and flops, and they didn’t mind to even take side of Pakistan or China, whenever they feel that their existence is in danger.
“The meek surrender of Congress in J&K is the testimony to the fact that ‘Mission Congress Free India’ envisaged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah has been fully accomplished as far as J&K is concerned”, he said, adding that bundles of lies which the ‘residual’ leadership of Congress is spreading to hoodwink the people in J&K will never help it to befool people.
“Congress’ claim that it will collect signatures of one crore people in J&K against the new Land Laws has no basis at all since the population of entire J&K is just above one crore and support base of this ‘Great Private Limited Party’ viz Congress is not hidden from anybody therefore one can only say that miniscule base of Congress’ supporters will have to sign again and again to complete the one crore mark as people have understood very well the age-old deceitful tactics of this party and are in no mood to fall prey to the same again”, the senior BJP leader maintained.
