Shiv Sena Hindustan J&K President Pt Rajesh Kesri today in a press conference at village Treva of Arnia Block expressed serious concern over recent back to back attacks in Jammu region and also appreciating security forces for upholding the sovereignty and integrity of our great nation which is at the heart of every Indian citizen.
Addressing media persons, Kesri observed that J&K Police has been relentlessly pursuing the goal of uprooting the terrorist ecosystem which can be gauged from the fact that 21 local terrorists including top commanders of different terror outfits were neutralized, 89 terror modules & 291 terror suspects/associates arrested last year. Notwithstanding the progress made, however there is no room for complacency. “The continuous attacks by terrorists are a serious threat to the safety and security of our citizens. It is imperative that we take strong action against those responsible and their supporters. He strongly condemned the series of terror attacks and questioned the sudden spurt in terror incidents, on the eve of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra and Assembly elections which is worrisome. He demanded that firm action be taken to check rising militancy, which has been spreading in entire Jammu.
Kesri claimed that terrorist attacks in Reasi, Hiranagar and Doda are a serious threat to national security perpetrated by Pakistan who is unnerved and frustrated by the normalcy returning to J&K and the peaceful overwhelming participation of people of the UT in recently concluded Parliamentary elections .He said the security forces are effectively working on the ground and have brought terrorism to its last legs in J&K . The way number of terrorists neutralized in J&K has proved that security forces have the ability to fight the menace of terrorism with its uncompromising zero tolerance policy towards terrorism , terrorists ,their perpetrators, overground workers and their sympathizers which has led to peace on the streets of J&K.
We all in J&K irrespective of religion, region caste or creed want peace and have a high stake in normalcy. Near normalcy in last five years has led to resurgent transformed buoyant J&K. Let us all who belong to J&K unitedly rise to the occasion and together provide all support to the Security Forces and the administration to fight this menace of terrorism unleashed by the enemy Neighbour . While showing his serious concern over increasing terror attacks in Jammu region, Kesri termed it a part of big conspiracy of Pakistan which wants to create unrest in the UT of J&K. He said in view of coming Amarnath Ji Yatra the Government should take stringent measures to curb terrorism. Prominent among those present on the occasion include Balveer Kumar, Balwant Fauji, Rajesh Kumar, Sanjeev Sharma, Rajkumar Baba, Suresh Kumar, Captain Ghararam, Darshana Devi, Rajni Devi, Vijay Devi, Neeru Devi and dozens of Shiv Sainiks.
