The hunger strike by contractual lecturers (10+2) enters 659 today which is a very longer period and the Contractual Lecturers has been facing so many hardships. The Contractual Lecturers are demanding their regularization as per the Civil services Special Provision act 2010 a Legislature passed for the Regularization of all the ad-hoc/ Contractual/Consolidated employees.
Today contractual lecturers staged protest and raised slogans like Laayen Gey Layen Gaye Hum Kranti Layen Gaye, Hamara Shoshan Karna Bandh Karo Bandh Karo, Contractual Lecturers Ko Regularise Karo Regularise Karo etc.
They Protested against the govt. for not conceding their demands as the Contractual Lecturers are on hunger strike for such a longer period and the Govt is paying no heed towards their demands.
While addressing the media person Mr. Zabir hussain shah vice president of the Association said that the govt has just given blank assurance which are if no use but more Exploitation of 10+2 Contractual Lecturers. We will not tolerate any cruelty by the govt on the part of Contractual Lecturers.
Mr. Shah also said that if our demands are not conceded at an earliest they will make this agitation as a mass movement which will be result into fatal consequences which the govt has to face near in future. He also said that the Association finally decided that we will not lift this Dharna of hunger strike till our case for regularization as per the civil services Special Provision act 2010 or according to Order No 1301 edu of 2003.or by including us in SRO 520 a new proposal moved by the government regarding the matter.
It is our humble request to Hon’ble Governor as well as Hon’ble advisor s Hon’ble Chief secretary, that kindly personally intervene in our case and Regularise our services as per Civil Services Special Provision act 2010 or SRO 520 or in Order No 1301, otherwise we appeal the state govt.to give us poison to we people and finished this matter because we are suffering a lot.
He also said that govt. should avoid its apathetic attitude towards the Contractual Lecturers(10+2) and adopt sympathetic way to settle the problem of the highly educated Contractual Lecturers (10+2) who are on hunger strike since 14th Feb. 2017.
He also said that he demanded that 10+2 lecturers are also contractual vide order no.1584-edu.of 2003 and vide order no.1328 of GAD. All the contractual lecturers are to be continued till further order, till their regularization .
