BJP Corporator Ward No 20 Rahul Kumar on Monday asserted that the Corporators play a significant role in plugging the gaps between people and the government departments as far as development cycle is concerned.
The BJP leader said this after launching development of a drainage system with an estimated cost of Rs 3 lakh at B/C Block near Justice GD Sharma residence, Ward No 20 Gandhi Nagar.
On the occasion, Rahul Kumar said that this was a long pending demand of people of the area which has met with the starting of this work. He said BJP is making all efforts to provide basic amenities to the people amidst the second wave of Covid-19.
Kumar said that BJP knows well about the people’s problems and strives to resolve them all on priority. He made it clear that not even a single problem will persist in the coming days as the party has made a comprehensive plan to work on the same in a phased manner.
Kumar said that the BJP is committed to provide all basic amenities like adequate drinking water, power, education, healthcare facilities and other civic facilities to people at their doorsteps. He said that BJP is making every possible effort to provide basic amenities and as far as his availability is concerned, he is available to the people round the clock. He asked the locals to approach him in case of any difficulty.
Kumar appealed to the residents of the area that if they find anything mischievous in the execution of the works under process in the Ward, they can directly come and register a complaint with him.
Among those who were present included District Executive Member Sandeep Gupta, Gandhi Nagar Mandal Secretary Rachit Khosla, Ward Pradhan Satbir Singh, BJP leader Vijay Verma and Rajesh Gupta.
