Cricket camp by ECB coach gets begins at KCSC

A 12-dayy special cricket coaching camp by visiting England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) coach, Rodney Jones got underway at KC Sports Club (KCSC), here today.
As per a handout issued by the KCSC, the camp commenced with enthusiasm among young and budding cricketers at the indoor cricket facility at the Club.
The camp was formally declared open by chairman of KC Group of Industries, Raju Chowdhary.
Speaking to the young cricket aspirants, attending the camp and other senior officials, he extended a warm welcome to the coach and thanked him for sparing his precious time for the young cricketers of J&K.
He also advised the young cricketers attending the camp to make the best of the opportunity under the guidance of a world class Cricket coach and thereby enhance their own levels of skill and improvement in the game within the short duration of the camp.
Meanwhile, the J&K State Sports Council (JKSSC) and the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) have sponsored 15 and 12 boys respectively for the camp.
