Band contingent of CRPF adjudged best and awarded overall champions trophy in All India Police Band Competition-2018 today here at Gulshan Ground Jammu. Band teams of various State Police and Paramilitary forces participated in the competition held in Jammu. Besides overall champions trophy, CRPF also adjudged winner in ‘Bugle Calls’, runner up in ‘Brass Band’ and hard liner in ‘Pipe Band’ events. CRPF contingent is a combination of experienced Hav/Band Madan Lal with more than 30 years of service and young Ct/Band M Sehitamjit with less than 2 years of service. Pertinent to mention here that CRPF has established its dominance in the competition from last many years and in the last fifteen years this is the ninth times CRPF has bagged overall champions trophy.
