50 students from different schools of Jammu region returned back to Jammu on 03.01.2019 after conclusion of 21stRashtra Katha Shivir under National Integration. The tour was held from 23.12.2018 to 30.12.2018 at Village-Pransla in Rajkot district of Gujarat. A program was organized at Headquarters of 33 Bn CRPF at Preet Nagar, Gangyal, Jammu to accord reception to the touring students. The event was presided by Shri Abhay Vir Chauhan, IG CRPF Jammu Sector. The students seemed overwhelmed with enthusiasm after attending the tour. The students shared their experience as how they got the opportunity to watch the culture and people of Gujarat so closely. They thanked CRPF for organizing such tour. During his address, Shri Abhay Vir Chauhan IG CRPF congratulated the children and support staff on successful completion of tour. He reiterated that such tours are opportunities for the youth see different parts of the country, to interact with people over there and have first-hand knowledge/information about the geography, culture, language and society there. He also said that the aim Katha Shivir is to bring the youth of different parts of country under one umbrella so that they can know about each other and shape the future of the nation collectively.
Pertinently, 50 students, including 45 boys and 5 girls, were sent to Gujrat on 21stRashtra Katha Shivir on National Integration on 21.12.2018. These children belonged to Kishtwar, Doda, Ramban, Udhampur, Reasi, Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts of Jammu region. Shree Vedic Mission Trust organized this camp with aim to acquaint the youth with civilization, culture, language and heritage of different parts of the nation to strengthen the feeling of national integration amongst them. These children were provided various utility items such as T-shirt, Track suit, Blazer, Sports shoes, trolley bag, bed sheet, pillow, blanket, crockery, stationery, etc. free of cost by CRPF.
Shri Abhay Vir Chauhan IG CRPF also congratulated Shri A. Padma Kumar, Commandant and officers of 33 Bn. CRPF for successfully organizing the tour of the children. Amongst others present during the event were Shri Chandra Bhushan, DIGP, CRPF Group Centre Hiranagar, Shri PC Jha DIG (Ops) Jammu North, and other officers & personnel of CRPF.
