CRPF planted trees at Airport Jammu on the occasion of World Environment Day

On the occasion of World Environment Day, plantation program was organized by 166 Bn CRPF under the aegis of CRPF in collaboration with Airport Authority of India. During the program, plants were distributed to children by CRPF with an appeal to plant more trees and save environment. Chief Guest of the program, Smt. Nitu, DIG CRPF Jammu Range thanked Director Airport Jammu for their participation in the program. She emphasized upon the importance of trees and while describing their role in maintaining environmental balance, she appealed all people present their to keep organizing such pious programs. Shri Pravat Ranjan Beuria, Director Airport Jammu, who actively participated in the program, appreciated the efforts of CRPF in organizing the program. While planting the tree, Shri Ashish Kumar Jha, Commandant 166 Bn CRPF appealed all officers, jawans and others present there to implement the programs ‘Plant trees; Save trees’ for the protection of environment. During the program Shri Anil Kumar Second-in-Command, Dr. Amit Kumar CMO (OG), Shri Deepak Choudhary Assistant Commandant and Shri Rishi Pal Singh Assistant Commandant of 166 Bn CRPF were present. Besides, Shri Vijay Mishra, CSO Airport Jammu, Shri Daljeet Singh DSP (AHJ) JKP and other officers and personnel of CRPF and various airlines were also participated in the program.
