Samba, MAR 16:
A newly established Community Service Excellence Centre was inaugurated today here at the District Headquarters by Deputy Commissioner Ayushi Sudan with the aim of strengthening digital governance and ensuring seamless delivery of citizen-centric services.
The centre will function as a facilitation hub enabling citizens to access a wide range of digital and government services under one roof. Through the centre, residents can avail services such as Ayushman Bharat registration, PAN card services, Aadhaar-related services, banking and financial services, insurance services, pension schemes, PM e-Shram registration, utility bill payments and online applications for seeking benefits of government welfare schemes.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the vital role played by Common Services Centres (CSCs) in bridging the digital divide and bringing governance closer to the people, particularly in rural and remote areas. “The CSC network has become an important platform for ensuring that government services are delivered in a transparent, efficient and accessible manner, thereby empowering citizens and promoting inclusive digital development,” she stated.
The inauguration marks another step towards strengthening digital infrastructure and improving service delivery mechanisms across the district.
