Cyber Cell Jammu recovered 366 missing Mobile Phones

To redress the grievances of the general public, the Cyber Cell of J&K Police, Jammu has traced/recovered 366 Missing Mobile Phones worth Lacs of Rupees and brought cheers to the faces of their users.
Out of which 138 mobiles were traced & recovered and 228 mobiles were traced out and letters for the recovery, to the concern police station have been issued. In a simple but impressive function at Gandhi Nagar Police Station, the traced mobile phones were handed over to their actual users by SP Police component Sandeep Mehta who is also supervising the operation of Cyber Cell Jammu. It was emphasised during the meeting that people should approach cyber cell Jammu to redress the issues related to cyber crimes through their concerned police stations, as cyber cell Jammu is the Nodal agency to deal with the cyber issues and cyber crimes in Jammu zone by providing technical assistance to various police units of Jammu province.
This is the 6113 initiative where a major recovery of missing mobiles has taken place in Distt. Jammu. Earlier on 711, of July 2018. 412 missing mobiles were traced /recovered by Cyber Cell. Further investigation of mobile tracing is going on with concerned Police Stations.
The whole operation of mobile tracing has been done by a team of experts of Cyber Cell Jammu with the assistance of various telecom service providers in the state by I/C Cyber cell Jammu SI Gagandeep Singh under the guidance of SP Police component Sandeep Mehta and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta, IPS.
