A well known artist and cultural activist of Jammu, O P Sharma was homoured by’Daughters of Panun Kashmir’ in a function organized at Jammu in connection with Herath on the conclusion of Maha Shivratri.
Sm. Priya Sethi, MoS for Education, Culture and Tourism was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Sh. Rajesh Gupta, MLA (Jammu East) was the guest of honour. Smt. Moheni Raina chaired the programme. Swami Kumar of Geeta Satsang Ashram and Yudhvir Sethi, Vice- President, BJP were special guests of the programme. Along with Dr. Ved Ghai, Savita Bakshi, Bhushan Bhat, Sh. O P Sharma was honoured for his contribution in the field of art and cultural activities.
He has also participated in Solo Shows at Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujrat, 1994; Ahmedabad, 1994; IAFA, Amritsar, 2009; LKA, New Delhi, 2000; Jammu, 2005; JKK, Jaipur, 2006 and Dehradun, 2007 and in nineteen Group Shows in different parts of the country.
