Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, today presided over a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) at the Mini Secretariat to evaluate proposals under Mission YUVA.
During the meeting, the Committee thoroughly examined the cases, following which 249 cases were approved after due scrutiny. The meeting also reviewed the district-wise progress of Mission YUVA, including cases forwarded to banks, sanctions accorded, disbursements made, and applications rejected, to gauge the effectiveness of the scheme’s implementation on the ground.
Emphasising transparency and due diligence, the Deputy Commissioner directed officers to maintain strict verification standards while processing cases.
The Deputy Commissioner further directed bank authorities to undertake a detailed analysis of rejected cases, clearly identify the reasons for rejection, and explore the possibility of resolving genuine issues in a time-bound manner.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Zaffar Husson Shawl; Officers from DIC Bandipora, District Social Welfare Office Bandipora, ARTO Bandipora, Pollution Control Board Bandipora, JKEDI Bandipora, and other concerned departments.
