In a considerate gesture to ease the hardship of grieving families, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Sh. Rajesh Kumar Shavan (JKAS), today disbursed a total of Rs. 4 lakh as compensation under the J&K Road Accident Victim Fund, based on the cases submitted by ARTO Kishtwar, Sh. Tasleem Wani (JKAS).An amount of Rs. 1 lakh each was disbursed to the legal heirs of four deceased victims of road accidents.
This government initiative aims to extend support to those affected by such tragic incidents and underscores its ongoing commitment to assist bereaved families.
The families who received compensation included Davinder Singh, S/o Kashmari Lal, R/o Atholi Paddar, Sahil Sarwar, S/o Javid Iqbal, R/o Chamoti Kishtwar, Ashish Kumar, S/o Bidya Lal, R/o Kewa Bunjwah and Aqib Hussain, S/o Late Mohd Rajab Wani, R/o Mulwarwan.
This distribution marks an essential step in providing financial assistance and acknowledging the distress faced by the families of road accident victims.
