In a spiritually uplifting event, Deputy Commissioner Reasi Nidhi Malik today flagged off the Holy Chhari to Mindal Mata here from Nau Deviyan Katra.
The Chhari Yatra will travel from Nau Deviyan in Reasi to Mindal in Himachal via Kishtwar Sol village. SSP Reasi Paramvir Singh, other senior officers and a large number of devotees were also present on the occasion.
The congregation commenced with the chanting of mantras and bhajans, invoking blessings for a safe and successful yatra. The yatra holds deep religious significance and draws a large number of devotees every year who undertake the sacred journey to the holy shrine.
Addressing the gathering, the DC extended her best wishes to the pilgrims and urged them to maintain discipline, hygiene and environmental sanctity throughout the pilgrimage. She also appreciated the coordinated efforts of various departments for making comprehensive arrangements to facilitate a smooth and safe yatra experience.
AYUSH Ramban organises health camp as Prelude to Int’l Day of Yoga 2025

RAMBAN, JUNE 10:
In the run-up to the International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2025, the AYUSH Health & Wellness Centre Chuchatar organized an awareness-cum-medical aid camp at Bari-Sadre Bagh today.
The initiative, conducted under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, aimed to promote holistic healthcare through Ayurveda and Yoga aligning with the district’s wellness objectives.
The camp was supervised by Senior Medical Officer AYUSH Dr. Masood Iqbal Zarger.
The team of medicos conducted screening for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) and distributed ailment specific medicines among the patients.
A special session was held on preventing latent tuberculosis through Ayurveda, educating attendees on traditional remedies and preventive care. Over 250 beneficiaries availed the free medical services, reflecting strong community participation.
