The District Congress Committee, Jammu Urban, today appointed Presidents of different Wards in Jammu East constituency.
In this regard a function was organized here, in which new Ward Presidents of the DCC (U) Jammu were appointed and were felicitated by Vikram Malhotra, District President.
Among those, who have been appointed included Balbir Singh President Ward No. 1. Rajesh Khosla President Ward No. 2, Hardevinder Singh President Ward No. 3, Rajinder Gupta President Ward No. 4, Maqbool Ahmed President Ward No. 6, Vishal Gupta President Ward No. 7 and Ajay Lagotra President Ward No. 19.
Speaking on the occasion, Vikram Malhotra called upon the newly appointed Ward Presidents to gear up for the forthcoming elections in the State. He also exhorted upon them to work hard and try to highlight the people’s grievances for their early redressal from the concerned authorities.
Vikram Malhotra also stressed upon them and other party workers to highlight the achievements of the Congress party among the public so that people become aware of the same and there is success of the party in the coming elections in the State.
