DDC Chairman Jammu kick-starts road work in Panchayat Kangrail

JAMMU, July 6:
DDC Chairman, Jammu, Bharat Bhushan Bodhi, today kick-started macadamization of road stretch of 1.1 KM from industrial area of Kangrail to Panchayat Ghar Kangrail under City Town scheme with an estimated cost of Rs 36 lakhs.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC Chairman said that the delay in development works due to COVID pandemic will soon be overshadowed by attaining pace in completing these works before time to facilitate people. He said that works accomplished under the BJP regime at the Centre are unprecedented and there is no match to the quality of these works as earlier under the regimes of other parties the development used to be temporary and time pass, which never saw the next season.
Bharat Bhushan said that he is committed to work for masses and wherever possible he is trying his level best to provide the best infrastructure to the people of Jammu district so that public distress could be avoided. He said that besides completed works and ongoing projects, more developmental projects are still in the pipeline which would be carried out in future in a phased manner for the welfare of Jammu people.
The DDC Chairman also appealed to the residents of the area that if they find anything mischievous in the execution of the works under process in the Jammu district, they can directly come and register a complaint with him.
The villagers present on the occasion in large numbers expressed satisfaction and applauded Bharat Bushan for his dedication and zeal towards working for the cause of people. They said that it was for the first time in so many years that a local representative is taking so much pain to address public issues.
On the occasion, BDC Chairman Kuldeep Raj, Mandal Pardhan Ashok Kerni, State President Kissan Morcha JKUT Omi Khajuria, Vaishno, Vijay Bhagat, Sarpanch Kangrail Panchayat Dr Shallu, Panch Indu Sharma, Sukhjeet Singh, Subash Sharma, Rajan Sharma, Lambardar Brhamnand, Jatinder Singh, Retd Sub Inspector Dwarka Nath, Raman Dharoch and Vijay Sharma Media Secretary were also present.
Later, the DDC Chairman along with ADDC Jammu Ramesh Kumar and Tehsildar Mohit visited near DRDO Covid-19 Hospital and inspected land for establishing District Development Council office Jammu. He said that the DDC office would be established in Jammu city so that the common masses may not face any difficulty with regard to their grievances.
