POONCH, Nov 11:
District Development Commissioner (DDC), Rahul Yadav presented medals and certificates to those winners of District Poonch Athletics Championship at Sports Stadium, here today.
The DDC was accompanied by the Commander 93 Brigade and both jointly felicitated the winners of various fields and track events of the two-day competition held under the aegis of J&K Amateur Athletics Association.
Among others present were Nirdosh Sharma (Manager Sports Stadium Poonch), Ravinder Singh (secretary District Poonch Athletics Association), Kulwant Singh, Rajinder Singh, Ram Parkash and Narinder Singh.

BOYS: Under 14 years: 100 mts: Adil Rashid, Ist; Arun Sharma, 2nd and Aditya Sharma, 3rd. 600 mts: Sajjad Ahmed, Ist; Rishu Kumar, 2nd and Taranpreet Singh, 3rd. Shot Put: Sajjad Ahmed, Ist; Zulfikar Ali, 2nd and Bishrat Hussain, 3rd. Under 16 years: 100 mts: Royal Deep Singh, Ist; Mohd Altaf, 2nd and Sultan Farooq, 3rd. 200 mts: Royal Deep Singh, Ist; Shabir Hussain, 2nd and Gourav Verma, 3rd. 400 mts: Wasim Ahmed, Ist; Ghulam Nabi, 2nd and Vansh Sharma, 3rd. GIRLS: Under 14 years : 100 mts: Mayaka Manai, Ist; Anjuman Firdous, 2nd and Gaganjot Kour, 3rd. 600 mts: Ruksana Koursar, Ist; Gurjot Kour, 2nd and Soniya Parveen, 3rd. Shot Put: Gurjot Kour, Ist; Naseem Akhtar, 2nd and Nazia Kousar, 3rd.
