The District Development Comm issioner (DDC) Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today reviewed the progress of district under Back to Village (B2V) programmes and implementation of local area development plan under RR Plan of Pakal Dool HEP for the financial year 2019-20 here in his office chamber. On the occasion, DDC reviewed physical and financial achievements of various departments includes PWD, PHE, JPDCL, RDD, Youth Services & Sports, Sheep Husbandry and other department.
He also held detailed discussion on implementation of other development schemes under the Local Area Development plan under RR plan Pakal Dool HEP.
During the meeting DDC directed the District officers and executing agencies to accelerate the pace of developmental works so that fruits of development reaches to each and every one down in the ladder of development. He also underscored the need of timely utilization of funds to avoid any cost escalation besides to avoid any lapse of funds.
Moreover to keep proper track of developmental works he sort the fortnightly report from all the executing agencies.
DDC also informed the meeting that strict action against the erring agencies and contractors who have failed to complete projects well in time have been taken to ensure the streamlining of the pace of developmental work in the district.
Besides various bottlenecks faced by the the executing agencies in the implementation of the various developmental works were also discussed in the meeting and necessary directions were passed by DDC to remove them.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal,District Youth Services & Sports Officer Kharati Lal,District Sheep Hiusbandry officer dr Farad Bashir,Dy CEO Rajinder Singh, Executive Engineer R&B division Marwah Mohd Aslam Lone,Xen PDD Narotum kumar , Block Development Officers Mughal Maidan Arun Kumar Badyal,AEE PDD Sudhir sharam besides other concerned.
