District Development Commissioner, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, today convened a meeting of officers to discuss modalities for providing Minimum Basic Facilities (MBF) in schools.
DDC informed that efforts are being made to ensure that all government schools in the district are equipped with basic minimum facilities for facilitating students besides providing them better education environment in schools.
The DDC directed the Executive Engineers to equip all left out schools with toilets, power and water supplies, furniture among other basic facilities to ensure smooth and uninterrupted academic operations in the district. He also directed them to ensure separate toilet unit for girls students in all the school.
CPO, Dr. Kasturi Lal, CEO, AH Fani, DPO, Sunil Kumar, Executive Engineers PHE, PWD, and PDD, AD Planning and various other officers attended the meeting.
