District Development Commissioner, Ramban, Showkat Aijaz Bhat inaugurated the three days awareness cum public outreach campaign at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Ramban being organised by Regional Outreach Bureau (ROB), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting GOI, Unit Doda with an effort to bring awareness among the public recording Swachhta, Khelo India and drugs abuse here today.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Ramban, Anita Sharma, Dy. SP, Suresh Kumar, Dy. Asgar Malik, EO, MC Ramban, Ravinder Sharma and officers of various departments besides ASHA, Anganwari and students of various schools were participated in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC highlighted the importance of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA) and stressed upon the participants to adopt sanitation and cleanliness as lifelong mission besides disseminating the message of SBM in rural and other areas to avoid various health problems and improving living slandered.
SSP also focused on the mission and stressed upon the public especially female to keep vigilant regarding sanitation while cooking and handling their children besides ensuring their surrendering clean and hygiene.
Meanwhile a colourful and informative cultural programme was also presented by the artists of Regional Outreach Bureau (ROB) and Bishwa Nath and party to sensitising the public regarding Swachhta Mission.
In-charge Field Outreach Bureau (FOB), Doda, Madan Gopal and Verinder Kumar, ROB Jammu gave a resume of programme while he presenting welcome address.
