REASI, OCTOBER 29: District Development Commissioner Reasi, Prasanna Ramaswamy G today visited District Hospital Reasi and inspected various undergoing works in the premises.
On arrival, the DDC directed authorities to shift the high-voltage electricity transmission line passing through the hospital premises. Immediate erection of a compound wall was also suggested by the DDC. DDC strictly prohibited construction of any motorable road within the hospital premises. He also ordered letting an entry gate at the back side of the hospital to facilitate the locals living on the other side of the road.
The DDC also visited the under-construction Emergency section of the hospital. He instructed the Superintendent to make a detailed proposal mentioning all pending demands of equipment and manpower to make the section functional at the earliest.
A small space is also being developed according to the DDC’s guidelines so that a few eateries and shops could be opened near the hospital to benefit the local economy as well as the visitors to the hospital.
While visiting patients, the DDC instructed authorities for immediate repair and replacement of basic amenities for the benefit of patients as well as their attendants.
The DDC was accompanied by Superintendent DHS Dr PS Thakur, Executive Engineer PWD RS Kapahi, Chief Medical Officer Parminder Singh and DGM JKPCC Kishore Kumar among others.
