This critical infrastructure issue poses a significant threat to the lives and properties of the residents living nearby, especially with the impending monsoon season.

During the meeting, the delegation provided a detailed representation of the issue, including the potential hazards and the urgent need for remedial action. In response, Er. Gulam Ali Khatana assured the delegation of his full support in addressing this pressing issue. He expressed his deep concern for the safety of the residents and acknowledged the urgency of the matter.
Er. Khatana immediately forwarded the representation of the delegation to the Commissioner of the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), requesting swift and decisive action to mitigate the risks posed by the dilapidated Nullah.
“I understand the gravity of the situation and the potential danger it poses to the residents of Krishna Nagar,” said Er. Khatana.
“Ensuring the safety and well-being of the citizens is of utmost priority. I have forwarded the representation to the Commissioner, JMC, and will personally follow up to ensure that the necessary repairs and reinforcements are carried out promptly.”
The delegation expressed their gratitude to Er. Gulam Ali Khatana for his prompt attention and assurance of support. They remain hopeful that with the intervention of the MP and the proactive measures from the JMC, the issue will be resolved at the earliest, thereby safeguarding the lives and properties of the residents of Krishna Nagar.
