US-based technology company Dell has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Inspiron 5480 and Inspiron 5580 notebooks under Inspiron 5000 series. The new notebooks are priced at Rs 36,990 and Rs 37,990 respectively. They are available for purchase on the Dell website.
Touted by the company as one of the best in class 5000 series laptop from Dell, the new range packs 8th Generation Intel Core processor and come in three different variants – i3, i5 & i7. Both Dell Inspiron 5480 and Inspiron 5580 notebooks packs 32GB of DDR4 memory, and comes with a variety of storage options including PCIe NVMe SSDs and dual drive options.
The notebooks come in two different size — 14-inch and 15-inch full HD (1920×1080) anti-glare IPS display and feature Dell Cinema software for immersive entertainment experience. A 3-sided narrow border is available on the 14-inch and a 2-sided narrow border on the 15-inch to add to the style factor, a press release from the company wrote.
Both notebooks also come equipped with Intel Optane Memory to boost the responsiveness of an HDD-based system by memorizing frequently used commands. Other features include 4-element lens webcam that offers temporal noise reduction and Dell Mobile Connect software for seamless connectivity with other devices.
