Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta on Wednesday said that BJP leadership in J&K is committed to all round development by rendering selfless service.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said this while launching drain and tile works with an estimated cost of Rs 9 lakh here at Ward No. 20, Gandhi Nagar. Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor JMC and Vinay Gupta President District Jammu flanked former deputy CM during the launch of development work. Kavinder asserted that BJP is winning the hearts of the people by providing them what others have not. He said the development works which J&K witnessed during BJP’s rule never happened before. He said that the specialty of the works undertaken during BJP’s tenure is their top quality which can endure for a long time to come. “It is the development model of BJP that the party is registering victories in different states”, he maintained adding that people should not feel shy to approach BJP leadership for mitigating their problems. He made it clear that BJP is always ready to serve people and the party feels immensely privileged in serving the community for ameliorating long pending problems.
Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta said that things have been moving at a fast pace to ensure early success of smart city projects. He said that people must have got an idea by now that work is apace as smart sign boards have been installed in many areas of the city. He said that sooner than later Jammu will be a full-fledged smart city with people enjoying all the modern facilities without any extra effort.
Rahul Kumar, Counc illor Ward No. 20 asserted that every possible step will be taken to ensure early redressal of the problems of the residents. He said that now there is no dearth of funds and the works shall be taken up on priority giving new dimensions to development and people getting rid of all their civic problems. He said that there is no match to the development spree which is currently in progress across the J&K under BJP regime at the centre.
