The ongoing agitation of Dharmarth Trust Employees Association entered into 81st day while chain hunger strike entered 54th day in support of their demands to constitute a public board for all temples under Dharmarth Trust.
A large number of employees including Pujaris assembled in the protest venue at Shri Ranbireshwar Temple and raised slogans in support of their demand.
Meanwhile, Bafazul Wani, Organiser of Shri Amarnath Yatra Society Kashmir Division sent by Raju Chandal today visited Dharna site and extended full support to them.
He urged Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to intervene in the matter and announce an interim committee to look into the matter of Dharmarth Trust affairs and also conduct CBI enquiry of all scandals in the Dharmarth Trust.
Employees Association handed over a memorandum to him containing various facts of mismanagement which will be handed over to Raju Chandal at Delhi who will explain the detail facts to Amit Shah Home Minister regarding constitution of Shrine Board for all temples under Dharmarth Trust and also conduct CBI enquiry which is main demand of the association.
The President of the Association Vivek Bandral alleged that it is very strange to say that some Hindu religious organization are not serious about condition of temples of Dharmarth Trust and they supported the person who sold the temples land to non Hindus and lifted Raghunath treasury from historic Raghunath Temple Jammu worth crores of rupees and using temples funds in their personal and political benefits.
The trustees also closed Sadha Barat Langer, Pathsala, Ghoshala etc. which is against the main aims and objectives of Dharmarth Trust mentioned in Aini-i-Dharmarth, she added.
Meanwhile, the Rudhra Abhishak being started by Dharmarth Trust employees entered into the fourth day today.
The persons who sat on hunger strike today include Pt Kapil Muni, B.P Singh, Bablu Singh, Neelam, Ajay, Gopal, Pt Munna, Kewal and Pt Om Prakash.
Ex-president Thakur Kernail Chand, Ex-General Secretary Pritam Sharma, Sunit Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Subash, Pt Parshotam, Pt Brijmohan Sharma, Pt Om Parkash, Pt Rampal, Pt Balwant Shastri, Vimal Khajuria, Sat Paul, Pawan, Deepu, Rinku, Makhnu, Jivan, Bushan, Sonali, Renu, Anju, Sheetal, Sonika, Sukeshni, Rita Salathia, Rekha, Ritu Devi, Harbans Lal, Surjeet Singh Slathia, Surjeet Singh Jamwal, Parshotam Sharma, Ram Paul Sharma, Jagjeet Chand, Sahil Sharma, Pt Babu Bishambar Lal, Raj Kumari, Leela Devi, Sheetal, Ritu Rajput, Jyoti, Sheela Devi, Savita Jamwal, Kanchan, Rajni, Shobha, Nisha and Sonika were also present on the occasion.
