Dharmarth Trust employees asked district administration as well as Dharmarth Trust management not to open denotation box of Raghunath Temple till the redressal of their demand on constitution of board of all the temples under Dharmarth Trust on the pattern of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
The employees, who are sitting on hunger strike after calling off protest for three day on the wake of Mahashivratri, today decided to take part in the Shobha Yatra of Bhagwan Shiv to be taken out tomorrow in Jammu city.
Criticizing the Dharmarth Trust Management for opening of donation box at Shri Raghunath temple in the absence of Pujaris, President Dharmarth Trust Employees Association, Vivek Bandral, asked management desist for such activities till their demand are not resolve.
“We already submitted letter to Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Deputy Commissioner Samba, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur and Divisional Commissioner Srinagar on February 4, 2021 with the request not to allow to open the donation boxes till the demands of the employees not resolved,” she said.
Meanwhile, those who sat on hunger strike of 72nd day peacefully include Pt Bablu Sharma, Pt Harbans Lal, Pt Sandeep Kumar, Pt Bharat Bhushan, Gourav Gupta, Om Parkash, Jeeto Devi, Poli Devi, Jagjeet Chand and Darshna Devi.
