There’s no dearth of questions that follow South superstar Prabhas wherever he goes, – be it fictional or for real. For instance,’Katappa ne Baahubali ko kyun maara?’ and ‘Who’s Prabhas getting married to?’. There should be a new addition to the list – ‘Did Prabhas refuse KJo’s film offer?’
This is the latest question to hound the superstar since the first reports of him refusing an offer from Karan Johar. The question has cropped up again with the latest news of him refusing another film offer from the filmmaker.
It seems it will be while when we get to see the blockbuster filmmaker working with the blockbuster actor. Karan has always shown keen interest in working with the Prabhas after ‘Baahubali 2’s’ stupendous success. But things apparently didn’t work out the first time he made an offer as the star demanded a hefty fee of Rs 20 crore.
The reasons were, reportedly, different for things not working out for the second time. Prabhas is currently busy shooting for ‘Saaho’ and this is the reason he refused the offer.
It is a known fact that Prabhas never did any film during the period he was shooting for the ‘Baahubali’ series. In that light, ‘Saaho’ is a significant film for the actor as it is the first film he signed after living his life as the larger-than-life hero Baahubali for years. Shraddha Kapoor will be seen opposite him in the film.
