DIG CRPF Jammu North Operations Range Vivek Bhandral today inaugurated the Shaheed Naik Joginder Singh Chenab View Saloon at the Tactical Headquarters of 84 Bn CRPF in Boom Chanderkote, Ramban.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Commandant Ranbir Singh, Assistant Commandant Inderjeet Singh, CUBB Raj Kumar, personnel of 84 Bn CRPF, and members of the media.
The saloon is named in honor of Shaheed Naik Joginder Singh of 84 Bn CRPF, who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty while combating militancy in Moga, Punjab, on November 23, 1989.
The Chenab View Saloon has been meticulously designed to provide modern grooming and relaxation facilities, including hair cutting, facial treatments, bleach services, foot massages, and body massages.
While addressing the gathering, DIG Vivek Bhandral commended the officers and personnel of 84 Bn for their initiative in developing this state-of-the-art facility. He emphasized that such amenities enhance the well-being of the unit personnel, who serve far from their homes in demanding conditions.
The saloon is envisioned as a common facility that will support the physical and mental rejuvenation of CRPF personnel, further boosting their morale as they continue their service to the nation.
