The Dy. Inspector General of Police (DIG) of Jammu-Samba-Kathua(JSK) Range Sh. Shiv Kumar Sharma-IPS along with SSP Kathua Sh. Shobit Saxena-IPS, SP OPS. Billawar Sh. Aumer, SDPO East, Jammu Sheezan Bhat and SHO Channi Himmat Mohd. Sadiq visited the house of Martyr Head Constable Bashir Ahmed at Channi Himmat, Jammu who sacrifice his life at (Kog Mandli) Billawar encounter and met with the family members of the Martyr. DIG JSK Range said that Martyr HC Bashir Ahmed was brave man and J&K Police will always remember his supreme sacrifice and his martyrdom will be the inspiration for the generations to come, DIG JSK Range assured full support to the Martyr’s family and said J&K Police has always been with them and assured his sacrifice will not go in vain. Besides, DIG JSK Range also went to Military Hospital (MH) Satwari and met with ASI Niaz who got injured at same encounter and asked about his well-being and assured to give any kind of help. DIG JSK Range told him that he is proud that there are brave men working in Jammu and Kashmir Police and we always stands with them in every difficult moment.
