Making his on-screen debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s’Tuesdays and Fridays’, Anmol Thakeria Dhillon impressed his director Taranveer Singh with his personality that the latter used to shape the character. Playing an author in the film, Taranveer Singh was looking for his leading hero to be the guy-next-door yet desirable man as opposed to the stereotypical macho personality. Impressed by Anmol in their very first interaction, Taranveer recalled, “The moment I saw him, the first time Anmol walked in, his entire vibe is so gentle and sweet that I immediately thought he’s somebody who fits to play Varun, the author’s character in the film. Just with his personality, he can charm anyone around him and make them feel comfortable. I didn’t want him to be the typical ‘Hindi film Hero’, I wanted him to be relatable and real.”Elaborating about Anmol’s trait that translated well into his character, Taranveer said, “His entire demeanor is such that despite being this good-looking 6.2 feet tall guy, he is not intimidating, rather he is a gentle fellow which I really liked for the character. If you see him sitting in a coffee shop, you would notice him as a good-looking guy and yet feel comfortable approaching, I liked the contrast of those traits. When he dresses up, he creates that aura where you take notice, somebody’s entered the party, but when he’s chilling, he can be my himself, someone you can imagine reading, working on a laptop, which was important for the character. One had to believe he was relatable and approachable.”Revealing the secret of Anmol Thakeria Dhillon’s affable personality, Taranveer shared, “Even though he is naughty kid, he can fool you with his eyes, making you believe he is an innocent, wise person.”Anmol Thakeria Dhillon, son of the veteran actress Poonam Dhillon, has created a buzz ever since the announcement of being launched by the prolific and ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Recently, Anmol received a warm response from Bollywood as the film fraternity welcomed him with a warm response to his debut poster and trailer. With ‘Tuesdays and Fridays’ releasing on 19th February 2021, Anmol Thakeria is set to make his big screen debut with a theatrical release.
