Director (Tech) visits Sewa II-Power Station

Balraj Joshi who rose through the ranks within NHPC to become its Director (Technical) paid his maiden visit to Sewa-II Power Station at Mashka & Bani. Sh. Joshi; accompanied by Shri S Kalgaonkar, Executive Director, Regional Office Jammu; were accorded a warm welcome by Shri Bikram Singh, Chief Engineer (I/C) and the Guard-of Honour by CISF staff at Bani. The visitors had detailed visit at the project Dam site Sarthali and later reviewed the functioning of the project as well as all the ongoing works at a meeting in the Power House at Mashka.
While addressing to employees Balraj Joshi said, “NHPC being the largest hydropower producer in India cannot rest on its laurels and should continue to strive harder to achieve functional and executive expertise by regularly raising its bar of performance. He added, “The growing competition across markets world over are creating numerous challenges to keep us on our toes and that kind of performance is expected out of each employee of the Corporation”. He appreciated the immaculate maintenance and upkeep of the Power Station and thanked the project management for giving him an opportunity to inaugurate its new Field Hostel Building.
