Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Sunday joined the Kashmiri Pandit employees and their families in celebrating Navratri at the Kashmiri Pandit (KP) Colony Odina, Sumbal.
The celebration was marked by spiritual devotion and cultural events.
On the occasion, bhajans and prayers were held at the temple premises of camp which was followed by the distribution of prasad and interaction with the community members.

administration’s commitment in improving the living conditions and infrastructure at accommodations provided to Kashmiri pandits.
He was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, besides senior officers from the district administration and police.
Meanwhile, migrant employees expressed their gratitude to the Divisional Commissioner for the visit and participation in the celebrations.
Kashmiri Pandits on Sunday took out a Shobha Yatra in Srinagar to mark the occasion of Ram Navami.
Amid tight security, the procession began from the old city and concluded at Tankipora, passing through prominent areas including Habbakadal, Barbarshah, Lal Chowk, and Jehangir Chowk.
The Yatra featured children dressed in traditional attire, while Pandit women performed folk dances at various points along the route, drawing large crowds of onlookers.
Officials said that the procession was held peacefully.
