Dogra Law College celebrates 71st Constitutional Day

Dogra Law College Celebrated 71st Constitutional Day to mark the adoption of the constitution of India by the constituent Assembly. On this occasion, a webinar was organized on the Topic- “Article 21 viz-a viz Dignity of the Dead Person in Pandemic”. Hon’ble Prof. SK Sharma retd. Head and Dean, Law Department and ex- Information Commissioner, University of Jammu graced the session as Guest of Honour.Prof. Sharma spoke about the importance of the constitution in the past as well as in the present. He further emphasized about the beauty and elasticity of Constitution of India. Prof. Sharma emphasized on article 21 with respect to the dignity of a dead person in pandemic and enlighten the Participants with his words of WisdomKr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, (Secretary Dogra Educational Trust), highlighted the importance of such webinars for students and Law fraternity of the College. he appreciated the efforts of speakers of the College, the students of BA.LLB 5 Years and LL.B 3 Years namely Pawan Chowdhary, Danish Anthal, Humera Firdous, Zainab Binte, Dhanayata Kumar, Prisca Prem, Deepshikha Jamwal, Muktesh Bhagat and Pallavi Magotra for putting forward their views on the theme “Article 21 viz-a viz Dignity of the Dead Person in Pandemic” and share their understanding about the Constitution of India.Dr. Komila Aggarwal (Principal In charge) Dogra Law College also addressed the gatheringand welcomed the Dignitaries and participants. A formal vote of thanks was presented by Ms. Etika Gupta (Faculty Dogra Law College).
