Team of Dogra Sanghthan keeping in mind the pandemic caused by the corona virus (COVID19) and to fight this virus the lockdown imposed by administration for the safety of everyone started a drive to feed the needy and today a week has completed continuously serving the hundreds of our fellow brothers and sisters stranded at various places in Jammu due to the lockdown President of Dogra Sanghthan Amit Kapoor and Vice- President Ajay Dogra with the help of all the team members and numerous volunteers are continuously serving the food to the needy and stranded people who are from all parts of the country there are lot of people stranded in a temples, bus stands they are there with shortage of food as of the lockdown no Dhaba or Restaurant is allowed to open and also they have no work or job and hence left with no money at all. Administration is trying there level best but due to large numbers there is shortage of food.
While talking to media persons Amit kapoor said that in two week we have served numerous needy people stranded at various places in Jammu with the help of administration like Gharota, Sainik Colony, Railway Station, Transport Nagar, Bhathindi, Sunjwan, Panama Chowk, Preet Nagar,Poonch Colony, Jallalabad,Janipur, Belicaharana, Bawey, etc from wherever we get a call or information that people in that area need help we try to reach there as soon as possible we are trying to touch the every nook and corner of Jammu he said we are also trying to give the dry ration to the needy toady we distributed dry ration to the 100+ needy families of Shivalikpuram. Amit kapoor said that it is our moral duty to help the administration and people who are stranded without food in these hard times he also urged and requested all the social activists and NGO’s active in union territory of Jammu Kashmir to come forward and help the people and administration to fight this pandemic caused by corona virus as it is the moral duty of every citizen.
He further said that he and his team will continue this drive of feeding the needy in whole lockdown period of 21 days he also said anyone who wants to help us can contact us on numbers given below we do not accept cash but however if any one wishes to help the can give the ration like rice, pulses, oil, etc
