Dogra Youth activists protested at Jammu on Mondy against the spiralling fuel prices that are causing hardships for the common people amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The protest was orgnised by Bhanu Partap Singh Goria under the supervision of Partap Singh Jamwal.
Dogra youth raised slogans against the Modi govt. “Ab Ki Bar Bari Padi Petrol Diesel Ki Maar”, “Petrol Diesel k Daam Kam Karo Kam Karo”, “Logo Ki yeh Lalkaar Greboo k saath zulm Bandh Kare Sarkar”.
Addressing the media, Partap Singh Jamwal said that Petrol is retailing at more than 101 per litre and diesel at more than 92 in Jammu, while domestic LPG touched ? 980 per cylinder..
Partap said that we are performed a Scooty & Bike pujan. “This is a symbolic protest.
The fuel price hike is pushing us backward and we are going back to the age of such ovens and bullock carts.
On his address, Bhanu Partap Singh Goria attacked on central government, saying regular hikes in the prices of petrol and diesel add to the “sky-rocketing expenses” of households.
“The Modi government at the Centre were revelling at the misery of the people, without taking any corrective measures, as they were making enormous profits from fuel price hikes.” Said Bhanu
