Namaan Duggar Kala Manch Bhambla (Pouni) celebrated Dogri Manayata Diwas 2018 in collaboration with the management of Govt. Girls High School Pouni under the aegis of Nirmal Choudhary Chief Education Officer Reasi.
On the occasion, Renowned poet DK Vaid (Darshan Darshi) Retd. Director School Education Jammu and Convener Sahitya Academy New Delhi was the Chief Guest while Dr. Gian Singh, Retd. Additional Secretary Academy of Art Culture and Languages Jammu, Shivdev Singh Susheel (Member Advisiory Board Sahitya Academy), Rajinder Ranjha (Yuva Sahitya Academy Awardee ), PD Bali ZEPO Pouni, Raj Rahi and Ajeet Kumar (Poet) Assistant Accounts Officer Reasi were the guests of honour.
Earlier, Welcome address was presented by Gopal Krishan Komal ZEO Pouni.
While Dharm Paul Sharma General Secretary of NDKM apprised the gathering with the objectives of NDKM which is to promote and develop Dogri culture among the budding generation by all means.
Members of NDKM led by Mohinder Dass Guddu presented a joint Dogri welcome song which was followed by colourfull bonanza of Dogri folklore presentations comprising of dogri poems, Dogri songs,Channs,Phakhaa etc by kids of Natures Lap International School Pouni, Girls of GGHS Pouni, representatives of various Dogri Clubs hailing from village Sungal,Bhambla and Saloon.
Proceedings of the program were conducted by Sanjeev kumar Sharma and Mohinder Dass Guddu.
Poets who presented their poems included Gopal Krishan Komal, Om Parkash Bhajwalia, Amarjeet Kumar Sharma, Mohinder Dass Sharma, Dharma Paul Sharma, Ajeet Kumar Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Naresh Puri
Moreover Dogra Bhakhs by Jatti Devi and party (Sita Devi,Devwanti, Shankutla Devi ) and Paras Ram and party (Durga Dass, shiv Ram, Prem Chand , Krishan Lal) were highly appreciated by the crowd.
Ranjinder Ranjha (Yuva Sahitya Academy Awardee) while speaking on the occasion lauded the role of Sanjeev Kumar Sharma organising Secretary of the event for promoting dogri language and dogra culture at the grass root level by involving maximum number of students especially by collborating with NDKM amidst the mass presence of students of various schools of zone Pouni.
DK Vaid Convener Sahitya Academy New Delhi Chief Guest of the programme congratulated the organising committee for better celebrations of Dogri Diwas 2018 by involving students of the area who also assured for full support to all Dogri clubs of the area which are working for the promotion of Dogri Art and culture since longer.
Program culminated to end with the vote of thanks by Daleep Kumar Incharge HM of Host School.
